We would like to create a student group at NKU. Here’s your opportunity to join. This group will have two functions. 1. Build a support structure which provides strong female role models in industry and academia, and career advice for women 2. Host social events and create a relaxing atmosphere for women in Informatics (in other words, “Have Fun!”) This will be a student ran group. It is up to you to determine the functions/meetings to hold. We will be available for guidance. Groups in the past have done such things as: Networking Events Guest Speakers Service Projects Fund Raising Please contact Dr. Maureen Doyle at doylem3@nku.edu if you are interested in helping to organize or lead this group. Subscribing to Womenininformatics

Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
