Northern Kentucky University, a premier metropolitan university located in the Greater Cincinnati suburbs, seeks to hire a Cultural Anthropologist with a Medical Anthropology specialty at the tenure-track, assistant professor level. Geographical area negotiable, but preference given to Middle East and other areas not already covered by current faculty. Candidates must have Ph.D. in hand, evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching, a current research project, professional papers and/or publications in hand, success in writing grants, willingness to involve undergraduate students in research, and willingness to participate in civic engagement. Department representatives will be available at both the SfAA meetings in Seattle and CSAS meetings in Iowa City to meet informally with any candidates (email anthropology at nku.edu <mailto:anthropology at nku.edu>  to schedule a meeting).
