CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
ANNUAL MEETING STUDENT PAPER PRIZE
NATIVE AMERICAN AND INDIGENOUS STUDIES ASSOCIATION
DEADLINE: MAY 11, 2012

2012 NAISA Annual Meeting Student Paper Prize
The Council of NAISA invites nominations for the best student paper prize to be presented at the Fourth Annual meeting of the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association at the Mohegan Sun Resort in Uncasville, CT, USA, June 3-6, 2012. Papers may be self-nominated or nominated by any NAISA member. A prize committee comprised of several NAISA council members will choose a winner to be announced at the Mohegan Sun during the business meeting. Papers must be paginated, left margin justified, double-spaced, and may not exceed 4,000 words. Longer papers will not be considered. While nomination is permitted by someone other than the student, it is ultimately the student’s responsibility to submit their finished conference papers by the deadline, Friday, May 11, 2012 at midnight (Pacific). Please submit papers to NAISA Council member Kim TallBear via WORD attachment at: prizes at naisa.org<mailto:prizes at naisa.org>. PLEASE NOTE: this is a later deadline than last year in order to allow as many students as possible sufficient time to submit papers. As such, absolutely no late papers will be accepted for any reason.
